An Ecstatic Journey into the Heart of Humanity
“Uman-Aya” means “Human Hearts,” reflecting the spirit they share through their music—from heart to heart.
Umanaya offers a fusion of instruments from diverse cultures and traditions around the world, such as handpan, didgeridoo, guitar, beatbox, hulusi, balafon, various flutes, percussion, and more—while weaving in contemporary rhythms and soundscapes like Techno, Trance, and Drum’n’Bass.
With these elements, they create “Organic Ecstatic Dances,” partly improvised, guiding the audience on a journey through varied landscapes—at times soft and melodic, at others powerful and rhythm-driven.
Umanaya’s performances are more than simple concerts; they are deep experiences that invite the audience to fully embody their authenticity, encouraging deep listening and self-expression through movement and free dance.
Their message is simple: to connect human beings with one another, and with their bodies and childlike hearts, through the universal language of sound.
