With Samuel
At the crossroads of ritual and collective release, Le Bal Maboul invites you into a one-of-a-kind experience where play, imagination, and ecstatic dance meet.
In costume, each participant enters a game where anything is allowed: letting go, joyfully losing yourself, and exploring new facets of both self and collective.
Guided by playful initiations and delightfully wild challenges, participants are carried into a festive, instinctive, and untamed journey that gradually transforms into a collective trance — chaotic, mesmerizing, liberating, and full of joy.
The Bal Maboul will be led by Samuel, who enchanted many participants last year with “The Machine”, his iconic caravan and its unforgettable space-time journey that sparked curiosity and captured many hearts.
This year, he returns with a brand-new creation, just as surprising and irresistible.
The Bal Maboul will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in a secret location, with a maximum of 30 participants per session.
A self-taught and nomadic artist, Samuel is driven by a desire to create spaces that liberate and transform.
His art goes beyond mere representation: it functions as a living ritual, an experience through which each participant can push boundaries, explore their imagination, and reinvent their relationship to the world.
His bicycle journeys through West Africa have profoundly shaped his vision. There, he discovered collective rituals, celebrations, and symbols that continue to inspire his creations and give them a universal resonance. Through a variety of mediums, he seeks to invent moments that act as symbolic gestures.
His goal is to offer artistic experiences that are at once festive and meditative—spaces where people dance, laugh, dream, and transform together.
Environments that are liberating, where art becomes a doorway to imagination and self-discovery.
Above all, his work aims to bring people closer together, creating connections that unite us all.
