5 Rhythms/Natural Dance
Leigh is a super experienced 5 Rhythms conscious dance facilitator and DJ. For the last 22 years he has held weekly community dances in Bristol and South West UK where he has developed and expanded the musicality of DJ’ing with impecable space holding and seamless harmonic mixing. As a drummer and percussionist he brings a deep understanding of the beat and how to weave music to serve all dancers to go into deeper ecstatic space. He plays a wide range of music, from Mantra and Earth honouring DownTempo to Wild Afro House and Percussion mixed with Crossover, Jazz and Drum n Bass….. anything that's good!
His original training was in 5 Rhythms with the Godmother of Ecstatic Dance Gabrielle Roth on 2004. Since then he has studied with many excellent teachers of Embodiment, Somatics and Biodynamic modalities. His ongoing daily practice is a mix of movement, Nei Gong inner Alchemy and Non-Dual Tantra.
